Trade Me needed to shift public perception from “online auction site” to a modern platform for major life moments like buying a home, finding a job or purchasing a car. My work focused on helping bring that repositioning to life through clear, emotionally grounded creative. I created campaign assets and brand design across digital, social, events, print and video, working closely with marketing, motors, property and brand teams. The goal was to translate strategic narrative themes into visually consistent creative that told real New Zealand stories. I worked within Trade Me’s brand system, refreshed templates and introduced clearer rules so designers and marketers could create assets faster and with more consistency. The work helped lift the quality and cohesion of Trade Me’s brand across channels and reinforced the shift from transactional marketplace to a platform that supports meaningful life decisions. The updated creative approach made it easier for internal teams to produce engaging, on brand content at scale.
